Classic Beef Burger with Brioche Bun

Ingredients (for 4 people) :

    -800g good-quality minced beef
    -250g onion, finely chopped
    -2tsp ketchup
    -2tsp English mustard
    -Small bunch chopped parsley
    -Pinch of salt & pepper
    -1 free-range egg

    To serve:
    -4 burger buns
    -Lettuce leaves
    -Tomato slices
    -Red onion slices
    -4tsp mayonnaise
    -4 slices of cheddar cheese
    -4 tsp English mustard

Method:

Begin by mixing all the ingredients for the burger into a bowl. Cover and chill for an hour.

Next shape the mixture into 4 burgers and cover in cling film. Place in the fridge to chill for approximately 30 minutes.

Then drizzle some oil into a large frying pan and heat for 3 minutes. Place the burgers into the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. Then top with the cheese and continue cooking for a couple of minutes until melted.

Meanwhile put the burger buns under the grill to toast.

Spread the mayonnaise and mustard onto the buns, add the lettuce, red onion and tomato and finally the burger patties.

Serve with chips!
