Origin of dish:  France
Type of cooking:  Oven
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients (serves 6):


1-Melt butter and chocolate gently together.

2-Mix flour, sugar and eggs together in a basin.

3-Add chocolate and butter mixture, then mix thoroughly.

4-Pour mixture in a greased or non-stick cake tin, then bake in a preheated oven, at a moderate heat.

5-Allow mixture to cool slightly, then arrange Smarties on top.
Advice: If you want to make a sandwhich cake, cut the cake in half, spread with chocolate buttercream and put back together.
