Origin of dish:  UK
Type of cooking:  Hob
 
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 60 minutes
 
Ingredients (serves 4):


Method:

1-Fry onion and garlic until translucent.

2-Add mince to onions and brown.

3-Add all other ingredients, stir well.

4-Leave to simmer for as long as possible really, an hour will do or as little as 20 mins!

5-Top with grated cheese.

6-Serve with rice, jacket potatoes, wraps or on top of nachos.
Advice: This dish can also be done in the slow cooker and left all day on low. My advise is to put the mince in as a whole slab, don't break it up until just before serving, that way the meat is in larger chunks rather than little powdery bits...

This is another dish that I often add other veggies too...

Top tip? If you dont like kidney beans, add baked beans instead!
