Origin of dish:  France
Type of cooking:  Hob

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 3 minutes

Ingredients (serves 6):

    750g beef, fillet of choice
    1/2 litre oil
Sauces and dressings of your choice, like tartare, tomato chutney, babrbecue, sweet chilli etc.

Method:

Remove fat from meat and dice into small chunks.

Pour oil into a pan and heat gently on hob, then once boiling, bring to table on a hot plate or fondue heater.

Cook at table:

Keep oil at a boil.

Each guest spears their piece of meat on a skewer or long fork and dips it in the oil for a few seconds, or minutes, depending on whether they want their meat to be well-done, or just sealed.

They then dip it in the sauces and oils on the table and enjoy!

You could also serve with potato salad ot other side dishes.
Advice: Great with a Beaujolais, the perfect meal for freinds!
