Fig soup

Origin of dish:  France
Type of cooking:  Hob
 
Preparation time: 25 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
 
Ingredients (serves 6):

    12 fresh figs
    1 kg sugar
    Zest of one lemon
    A few fresh mint leaves
    Water

Method:

Peel figs.
In a pan, make a syrup, by bringing the water and sugar to the boil together.
Chop figs roughly, then blend.
Serve with a few leaves of fresh mint.
Advice: 80 calories per person
