Ingredients (serves 4):
150g almonds, crushed or powdered
Method: Put almonds, sugar and egg whites in a bowl together.
3 egg whites
Add melted chocolate, then mix well until you have a smooth paste.
Roll into balls, then flatten slightly and arrange on greaseproof paper for baking.
Dampen with a little sprinklling of water, then sprinkle with sugar and leave to bake for 12-15 minutes in a moderate (300°F/150°C) oven.
