Ingredients (for 4-6 people) :
700g lean beef minceMethod: Place all of the ingredients in food processor and mix until well blended. The mixture should be firm but mushy like sausage meat.
4 tablespoons fresh parsley
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon minced chili
2 tablespoons New Zealand Honey Co. Manuka Honey with Ginger
1 cup chopped mango (fresh or canned)
1 tablespoon plain flour
1 cup plain flour, for rolling
1 1/2 cup canola oil for deep frying
With a spoon, roll the mix into balls and coat in flour and then set aside on plate.
Slowly heat the oil in a deep frying pan. After a couple of minutes test heat with a sprinkle of flour - if it instantly sizzles, you’re ready to go.
Place the meatballs into a frying pan, cook until golden brown and turn over. When both sides are cooked, remove from pan and place on a serving dish.
Serve on their own, or with a dipping sauce of your choice.
