Chasseur sauce (for chicken chasseur)

Origin of dish:  France
Type of cooking:  Hob
Preparation time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Ingredients (serves 2):


1- Brown onions and bacon together.
2- Wipe mushrooms.
3- Cook mushrooms in a pan.
4- Stir in bacon and onins, to mushrooms.
5- Add creme fraiche and port.
6- Leave to simmer.
7- Serve piping hot.
Advice: This sauce works well with either white or red meat, but is especially good with chicken.
