Ingredients (
serves 2
):
1 small bowl of
mushrooms
1 small bowl of smoked
bacon
, cut up into small pieces
1 large
onion
500 ml
creme fraiche
1 small glass of
port
Salt &
pepper
Method:
1- Brown
onions
and
bacon
together.
2- Wipe
mushrooms
.
3- Cook
mushrooms
in a pan.
4- Stir in
bacon
and onins, to
mushrooms
.
5- Add
creme fraiche
and
port
.
6- Leave to simmer.
7- Serve piping hot.
Advice:
This sauce works well with either white or red meat, but is especially good with chicken.
