West Indian flan

Origin of dish:  France
Type of cooking:  Oven
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 60 minutes
Ingredients (serves 8):

    1 can of concentrated milk (to be used as measurement)
    1 and 1/2 measures of milk
    200g grated coconut
    4 eggs
    a few drops of caramel


1-in a terrine, put the concentrated milk, the measure of milk, the coconut and the eggs.
2-beat together with a whisk until smooth. Preheat you oven.
3-place some caramel at the bottom of you flan mould.
4-spread out the mixture in your mould.
5-cook the misture using a bain-marie for an hour making sure, from time to time that the mixture is not burning.
