Ingredients (serves 8):


Method:

1-Make coffee.

2-Put 4 egg yolks in saucepan at a low heat. Add condensed milk and fill the empty tin with water. Add to mixture and heat mixture, stiring well. Leave to simmer, do not bring to boil.

3-Soak biscuits briefly in luke-warm coffee. Arrange on a plate or cake-stand.

4-Pour a little of the creamy mixture onto biscuits.

5-Add another layer of soaked biscuits. Pour on mixture, repeat until no mixture or biscuits are left.

6-Add meringues to top.

7-Leave to chill overnight.
Advice: (Tiramisu-type desert)

Soak biscuits very quickly in coffee, so they do not break up.

Le café doit être tiède pour ne pas se brûler les doigts.

Raper un biscuit sur les blancs en neige, pour atténuer le goût des blancs.

Mettre une pincée de sel dans les blancs pour qu'ils puissent monter.
