Foolproof pepper sauce

Ingredients (serves 2):

    1/2 pint milk
    2 heaped tsp Bisto granules (gravy ganules)
    Coarse ground black pepper


1- Bring most of the milk to a simmer in a pan, but don't allow to boil.

2-Mix Bisto into remaining cold milk, then add to simering milk, stirring until thoroughly mixed in.

3- Bring back to simmer and allow to thicken then, add pepper to taste.

4- Add a knob of butter just before serving to give the sauce a shine.
Advice: This makes a delicious, creamy pepper sauce, to be served with steak.
Just don't let it boil!

Just fancied some pepper sauce with grillsteaks at the last minute. Found this through Google and it's fab!! So simple and quick to make with all the ingredients just general everyday cupboard contents. Will definitely be making again :)
