Ingredients (serves 4):
600g potatoesMethod: Peel and chop the potatoes into thin slices.
2 teaspoons margarine
50g grated gruyère
200ml semi-skimmed milk
4 teaspoons crème fraîche
salt and pepper
Grease your dish with margarine.
Arrange a layer of potatoes, a layer of gruyère and repeat. Season.
Mix the milk and cream and pour over.
Bake for 60 minutes at 200°C / 400°F / Gas Mark 6-7.
