Apple crumble

Ingredients (serves 80):


Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 6)
Peel, core and thinly slice the apples.
Place into an oven dish.
Scatter the raisins.
In a large bowl, mix together the nuts, flour, sugar and cinnamon. Add the butter and rub in until the consistency is like breadcrumbs.
Spread the mixture over the apples, and place in the oven until it becomes golden (around 35 minutes).
Serve hot with vanilla ice-cream or cream.
Advice: This dessert goes well with a cup of tea.
