Sun-dried tomatoes

Origin of dish:  France
Type of cooking:  Oven
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 45 minutes
Ingredients (serves 4):

    8 small firm tomatoes
    Olive oil
    Salt and pepper


1. Preheat your oven to 180° (GM 6).
2. Wash the tomatoes, cut in half and remove seeds wih a small knife.
3. Arrange on a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil and season.
4. Sprinkle with sugar.
5. Bake for 45 minutes.
Advice: You can also add basil. The tomatoes will be even better if they're cooked the night before and reheated before serving.
