Sausages on sticks

Origin of dish:  Europe
Type of cooking:  Oven
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes

    1 packet of sausages (8-10 sausages)
    1 puff pastry dough in a roll
    1 egg yolk


Cut the sausages into little sections about 3-4 cm long.

Cut the puff pastry dough in triangles a little bigger than the sausages.

Roll the ends of the sausages in the dough while wetting the ends so that the dough sticks well and doesn't open during cooking.

With a brush, put egg yolk on the top of the sausage sticks.

Place them on a cooking sheet and cook for about 15 minutes at 415°F.

If you want to make life easier (cheating), you can also roll the sausages whole in a large rectangle of dough.
Brush with the egg yolk then cut them into round sections.
Cook in the same manner.
Advice: This little cocktail snack is very easy to prepare. After you've cut the sausages, you can even have your children make the sausage sticks, they'll have fun doing them.
