Camembert appetiser

Origin of dish:  France
Type of cooking:  Oven
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Ingredients (serves 4):

    - 8 filo dough sheets
    - 4 sprigs of chive
    - 1 camembert cheese cut in 4
    - 1 green apple (Granny Smith) or 1 pear
    - 4 teaspoons pinenuts
    - 50g butter


In a pot melt the butter.

Glaze each filo sheet with the hot butter to make it soft.

Peel the apple or the pear.
Take out the core and cut in very little pieces.

Place a piece of camembert in the centre of each filo sheet, 1 teaspoon of pinenuts, 1 spoonful of apple or pear pieces.

Close the pastry by bringing the sides up to the top and attaching them with a sprig of chive.

Place on a buttered baking sheet.
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 475°F for 3-4 minutes, until lightly golden.

Take out and serve.
