Spicy tuna with tagine-style onions

Ingredients (serves 4):


Soak the raisins in warm water.

Mix together the chilli powder and cumin. Add the juice of half a lemon and soak the tuna in it for 1 hour, turning it over after 30 minutes.

Cut the onions into slices and put into a frying pan with a bit of oil. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sauté over a low heat for 10 minutes.

Add the vinegar, honey and drained raisins. Add water and leave to simmer over a low heat.

Drain the tuna and dust with flour. Heat up a bit of oil in a separate frying pan then cook the tuna for a few minutes on each side.

Cut the tuna into pieces and place in the sauce just before serving.

Serve hot with the limes cut into quarters.
