Creole-style hot chocolate

Origin of dish:  Exotic

Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients (serves 6):

    - 1 litre semi-skimmed milk
    - 2 cinnamon sticks
    - 1 lime zest
    - 1 vanilla pod
    - 3 tablespoons powdered dark chocolate
    - 400g sweetened condensed milk
    - 400g evaporated milk
    - cornflour (quantity depends on thickness required)


Heat the semi-skimmed milk with the evaporated milk, cinnamon, lime zest and vanilla, without letting it boil.

Add the chocolate and heat for 10 minutes, still not bringing to the boil.

Add 200g condensed milk (adding more if necessary). Leave to heat gently for 10 minutes.

Thin down a bit of cornflour in cold water, and add to mixture.

After a few minutes, the chocolate should thicken slightly.

Serve immediately.
