Spicy Barbequed Mackerel recipe

Preparation time: 10 minutes
 
Ingredients (serves 4):

    1 large red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
    1 garlic clove, finely chopped
    1 inch fresh ginger, finely chopped
    2 tsp honey
    zest and juice of two limes
    1 tsp sesame oil
    1 tsp Thai fish sauce
    2 decent sized Mackerel

Method:

1. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
2. Score each side of the fish, brush lightly with oil, and barbecue until cooked (probably about 5 minutes).
3. Spoon the mixture over the pre bbq-ed mackerel and leave to stand for 2-3 minutes before serving with a green salad.
