Clarified butter

Origin of dish:  France
Type of cooking:  Hob
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes

    500g butter


Melt the butter slowly in a pan.
Set aside for 20 minutes, then skim.
Pour into a container, leaving the whitish whey at the bottom of the pan.
Keep refrigerated.
