Ingredients (serves 6):Method: Finely chop the almonds and mix with half of the sugar.
Cream together softened butter and rest of sugar.
Once ingredients combined, add almond mixture and eggs, one by one.
Add a pinch of salt, flour and Kirsch.
Grease a cake tin and pour in mixture.
Cook for 40 minutes at 300°F (150°C).
