Vegetable and raisin medley

Origin of dish:  Exotic
Type of cooking:  No cooking needed
 
Preparation time: 15 minutes
 
Ingredients (serves 4):


Method:

Soak raisins in a bowl of warm water.
Wash vegetables, then grate turnips and cut courgettes into slices, then quarter-slices.
Fold each spinach leaf lengthways, then remove whole stalk.
Wash leaves and chop roughly.
Mix vegetables together, sprinkle with lemon juice and salt.
Add raisins and serve.
Advice: Try using sultanas, or different kinds of dried fruit to vary the recipe.
