Origin of dish:  Europe
Type of cooking:  Hob
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 7 minutes
Ingredients (serves 6):


Peel and chop fruit into 30g sections.
Heat the oil in a chip pan to 350°F (180°C).
Dip each piece of fruit into the batter, then strain and deep-fry until golden.
Absorb excess oil with paper towel.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Advice: Try soaking the fruit in alcohol first, for an extra kick!
